Agency: Russian airlines’ passenger traffic falls 38% in Jan
MOSCOW, Feb 11 (PRIME) -- The passenger traffic of Russian airlines fell by 38% on the year to 5.5 million people in January, the Federal Air Transport Agency said on Thursday.
The passenger transportation decreased 53% to 11.23 billion passenger-kilometers.
S7 was the passenger traffic leader with 1.19 million people, falling 13% on the year. Aeroflot’s traffic dropped 60% to 1.04 million people, while low-cost Pobeda provided services to 928,000 passengers, flat on the year.
